Canadian Jade has been carved and worn since 5000 BC, from the Olmec altars of Mesoamerica to the imperial courts of China, where nephrite jade was called “the stone of heaven.” Red Carnelian sat in Egyptian burial chambers, on Roman general’s seal rings, and on the silver ring the Prophet Muhammad wore throughout his life. The Norse navigated open water by sunstone and iolite, holding these crystals to the sky to locate the sun through cloud cover — a technique now confirmed by modern physicists. These four stones have been moving around the world for longer than writing has existed.

This set brings them together for the first time. The necklace runs from 40 to 44 centimetres, each bead wire-wrapped individually by hand onto a stainless steel chain — every loop closed by pliers, not machine. The earrings cluster the same four stones on lever-back findings, weighted enough to feel like something. Worn together or worn apart.

Because these are four different minerals in one set, the colours vary in person. The jade ranges from deep forest green to pale sage, the carnelian from brick red to warm rust, the iolite from dark navy to violet-blue. What you see in photos is representative; what you receive will carry the same four stone identities, each slightly unique.

The necklace is adjustable from 40 to 44cm via a lobster clasp and extension chain, sitting roughly at collarbone length on most adults. Leave a note at checkout if you need a shorter or longer chain and we will adjust accordingly.

The earrings are a fixed cluster drop. No sizing selection needed.
