Peridot is one of the oldest known gemstones. The ancient Egyptians mined it as early as 1580 BCE, calling it the gem of the sun and believing it protected against evil spirits and night terrors. It has been found in meteorites that fell to Earth millions of years ago — a stone with origins beyond this planet, wearing the colour of growth and abundance. For those born in August, it is a birthstone with deep history. For everyone else, it is simply one of the most alive greens in the mineral world.

The round Peridot beads catch the light differently from faceted stones — softer, more organic, less glittery and more living. Nine drops hang from a fine 18k gold-plated cable chain, each individually wire-wrapped on a gold-plated head pin.
