In Sanskrit, ruby is called Ratnaraj — “the king of precious stones.” The ancient Indians believed ruby glowed from within with its own inner fire, and that wearing one offered protection and drew good fortune. In Burmese warrior tradition, rubies were embedded in the skin before battle — worn not as decoration but as armour. That fire is what has made ruby one of the most prized stones in history: not just for its beauty, but for what it represents. Passion. Courage. The will to act.

Each bead is a natural faceted ruby, its deep red catching the light with every movement. Nine drops hang from a fine 18k gold-plated cable chain, each individually wire-wrapped on a gold-plated head pin, with a lobster clasp and adjustable extension chain.
