Hey there! I’m Sara Movahedi, the face behind The Maverick Souls.

A bit about my journey: I’ve been navigating the world of Bioinformatics Research since 2008. Plenty to learn and exciting opportunities, but I always missed the artistic side of me. Come September 2023, I decided it was high time to chase my dreams.

What started as an exploration into digital design has slowly blossomed into a deeper creative journey. While I still hold a love for visual storytelling, these days you’ll often find me crocheting or sewing; crafting handmade pouches, totes, and bags that carry a bit of soul in every stitch.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to working with natural materials like wood and crystal stones, dreaming up simple jewelry pieces that connect beauty with grounding energy. Whether it’s a soft crochet pouch, a hand-sewn tote, or a crystal-adorned bracelet, my goal is to create with intention and a respect for nature.

This space is where I share my evolving path in craft, art, and design. I’m learning as I go, letting curiosity lead the way; and inviting you along for the ride. Every piece I make tells a small part of this journey, and I hope it brings something meaningful to yours.
